An interview with myself where I share what I learned on a week's holiday in Tuscany, Italy. Also, musings on my favourite adventure so far with the sprog, my own personal challenges of raising an adventurous kid and my tips for parents out there.

I dropped the sprog at Primary School and flew down to meet Kev Merrey at the Coalhouse Fort which is, near enough, on the Thames estuary. We had a extremely quick chat about how he has raised two teenagers who are enthused and excited by the outdoors and adventure. He also shared a couple of stories from his film shoots with some big names in adventure and gave a couple of basic tips on getting out and filming with your family.

While our sprogs frolicked around Hatfield Forest in Essex building dens I attempted to interview Mel Findlater. We discussed what it's like raising her adventurous 2 year old from climbing mountains that aren't mountains, taking a 3 day trek into cougar country and the real challenge of having a harrowing birth after IVF. Mel also shared her ethos on adventure and how this ties in with her enterprises, the You Can Hub and Ordinary Superparents. (22 mins 37 secs)
